Last Sunday March 26th saw 100’s of people coming into the centre of Bridgwater for the return of the first Bridgwater Independent Market of 2023.
The monthly Market, the brainchild of Taunton businesswoman Michelle Beck of By Invitation Events was launched in 2022.
Michelle said, “As a proud Somerset girl, I am hugely excited to see the return of the Bridgwater Independent Market in 2023. I run three markets now across Somerset and have tremendous support from all the wonderful local traders and organisations I work with, as well as from local businesses. Bridgwater Town Centre is a lovely all-weather location, with plenty of free parking close by, level access and very importantly it is dog friendly.”
The Bridgwater Independent Market showcases the South West’s best food and drink, crafts, gifts, homewares, beauty and fashion and with many of our town centres and small businesses continuing to face difficult times with the current cost of living crisis, markets bring people out to shop, to support local businesses and to help to put Somerset firmly on the map as a quality South West shopping and social destination”.
The Bridgwater Independent Market will take place on the last Sunday of the month, from 10am – 3pm.
