Stone Artisan Pizza has won ‘Artisan Pizzeria Specialist of the Year’ at the Corporate Live Wire South West England Prestige Awards. The South West England Prestige Awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.
The judging panel bases their decision upon how businesses have harnessed more effective processes, products or ideas in order to; transform their industry for the better, increase profits and/or offer a more successful service.
Run by Bobs and Suze, Taunton-based Stone Artisan Pizza create authentic pizzas in their mobile, professional wood-fired pizza oven and can usually be found at events and private functions across the South West.
However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Bobs and Suze, like many other business owners, had to adapt the way they work and launched their DIY Home Pizza Kits which contain their home-made dough, homemade sauce and delicious mozzarella cheese, making it easy to create mouth-watering authentic pizza in the comfort of your own home.
Speaking about their award, Bobs said, ‘As a business, we believe in good food and we make everything ourselves using fresh, quality ingredients which are locally and sustainably sourced wherever possible. We are both totally overwhelmed and proud to have won this exciting award, especially in what is a very difficult time for small business owners.”
