Between Sun and Stone is a documentary photography zine exploring the ritual year at Stonehenge. The project captures the shifting seasons, ancient traditions and the diverse communities who gather at the stones to mark key moments in the ritual calendar. From the vibrant celebration of the Summer Solstice to the reflective atmosphere of the Winter Solstice, the work documents the energy, intimacy and timeless connection between landscape, ritual and community.

About the zine
Printed in A5 on uncoated paper with staple binding, the zine has a raw, tactile quality that complements the atmospheric nature of the images. Between Sun and Stone is the first publication from photographer Livvi Grant and brings together a body of work created over multiple visits across the ritual year.

Exhibition
Between Sun and Stone also formed a stand-alone exhibition in Stroud as part of the NeoAncients festival. The exhibition presented the series in a gallery context, offering viewers an immersive encounter with the images and the stories behind them.
